More importantly, how will you solve this?

While writing my last blog I came across this
While doing "spell check" blogspot suggested my to correct spelling of "Google" & the suggested spellings were "Googol", "Goggle",etc. Have a look at the image :)

Other errors were in spelling of blog & blogspot :D


I wonder google has not added its own name in the thesaurus of blogspot

You want to remove your URL from google's cache.

One can change the page hosted by themselves & get it offline from internet, but we all know by now.
Google is very intelligent & keeps a tab of your online activities

So if you really want to remove a URL from google's cache, this URL can help you
http://services.google.com:8882/urlconsole/controller
Although you'll have to give proper reasons & convince them, & they will take some 3-4 days to do the same, but still you can try & get results.

Hope this will help a lot of people around

Lots of stories read about folders or files with names CON, PRN, AUX, NUL etc cannot be created in Windows as these are reserved names for DOS devices.
But there is a way to go around to create folders with these names.
(If you REALLY REALLY want it by that name)


STEP1: goto command prompt

STEP2: type in prompt c:\> "mkdir \\.\c:\NUL"

STEP3: verify by typing "dir \\.\c:\NUL"

STEP4: delete the file or folder "rmdir \\.\c:\NUL"

\\.\ <-- this lets the windows know that the name NUL used is not the name for DOS devices but instead it is used for creating a Windows directory.

Me Nathuram Godse Boltoy



Nobody would belive that I went to see a Marathi play. But yes I did on 10th of feb. It was “Me Nathuram Godse boltoy”.

A person like me who can understand only common flowing marathi spoken in day to day life (that too ~80%) did enjoyed the play like anything

The guy “Sharad Ponkshe” was great. I really liked his act & style of presentation.

Albeit I was able to graps only 70% of the language / words but when you ask me to say words for the play I have only one: “Superb”

A must see play if u haven’t seen one yet, I wish if they can make one in Hindi also for common people to understand.

Its not about what gandhi did & why he was killed, but it was a person called "Nathuram Godse"

he was a common Gandhi lover man, he had something in mind & he did what he felt good. I really loved the peronality of Nathu as shown in the play.

A cool guy with no fear in mind even from death
The way he lived after doing the "WADH" not "KHOON" of Gandhi till his DDay was really wonderfully played by Sharad.


Thanks to my Marathi friend here to take me to the play.

A must see if you can understand even a little bit of Marathi.

Swadesh
A movie for many of us, A ride in reality for rest

I remember my trip once from Jabalpur to Kolkata.
I was in Shaktipunj Exp, which goes all the way round from chhatisgarh & jharkhand.

Do u remember the scene in Swadesh where a small boy was selling water for 25p. I have seen that kind of scene on that way

The great train was not having any AC coach & even a pantry car.
So the food & water was dependant on stations. Fortunately unfortunately I was traveling with my Sis & two Kids, that too one of few months old.
Fortunate because we had enough stuff to eat drink with us, unfortunate because it was too hot for small kids.

Somewhere in between we were out of drinking water & were waiting for any station to come.

From the time table I saw a big station is about to come, cause the halt of train there is of 5 minutes. I guessed it would be a good enough & we can take stuff from there. It was a station BIG like a small town, where there were only two stalls on station. One was tea & one was having some snacks kinda stuff.

I saw two bottles of packed water over there, so rushed & bought them, it was obviously not cold as they didn’t have any cooling solution, but I needed water for my nieces.

As I moved from the stall another guy from same train reached to his stall & asked for water. “Sahab pani khatam ho gaya, ek din main hum do hi botel pani latein hain”.
I was shocked, but when thought of their situation its OK for them as nobody even bought packed water.

Reason: When I turned back to train a saw a small kid selling water in earthen cups for same 25p rate. I wondered since how long I have seen a 25p coin. But it was reality.

So when I saw Swadesh it wasn’t looking as exaggeration to me, as I have really seen such places, anyway I’m not going to light bulbs but still its reality.

LIBERATION OR SEXPLOITATION
Today in some societies, particularly in the West a woman can walk semi-naked in public, swim topless, patronize bars and clubs, smoke, drink, dance in discos and have sex with anybody she feels like.
She can even serve her boyfriend, like an unpaid prostitute, and be free to murder her unborn baby if she falls pregnant. She can also compete in the business world by using her body to promote commercial commodities.
At the end of the day she will be regarded as a truly 'liberated' woman!
In some religions, however, Liberation of women is far more serious, noble and dignified than just the burning of bras as is done in the so-called permissive societies where the fair sex is regarded as no more than a sex object. Today the West is very quick to condemn these religions, which protect purity of purpose and the intermingling of the sexes at all levels of society.
Look at the glossy cover of any magazine or advertisements on TV and newspaper, you will find that most of these advertisements have scantily dressed women in alluring poses to attract the attention of men. This proves that the Western society considers woman only as a sex symbol.
The liberation of women in Indian culture is far superior to Western liberation as it allows women to live with respect, dignity and equality in society.
Equality does not mean aping and behaving like men or dancing to their carnal tunes; that would be an act of inferiority in the face of one's own femininity.
A truly liberated woman always dresses decently and modestly. A true woman will never degrade her body and sell her dignity to the highest bidder. No woman is truly liberated if she is still the slave of her wayward conscience, bodily lust or infidelity.
However, in Indian culture, women, whatever their role as mothers, wives, sisters or daughters, command respect and have a constructive role to play in society. The dignity itself gives an aura of freedom to the womankind, facilitating their movement and protecting them from provocation and wanton greed of the human wolves. Removal of the dignity makes you vulnerable to the lust of men.
